Here are a few of Moose’s favorite things at Mpix.
A print is nice, a framed print is schweet! The speed, professionalism and TLC given to the matting and framing by Mpix that's done in 24 hours rivals and exceeds what I've had done at professional galleries. Simply amazing!
When it comes to the finishing touch to make your subject jump off the wall, Mpix's Metallic paper does just the trick. I've never received a print on this paper that didn't just make me smile the moment I carefully unwrapped it from its' packaging!
Coffee Table Books
Who doesn't like to see their images in a book? Even better is seeing the face of someone when presented a gorgeously prepared book of your images. This very special way of showing off your work is done beautifully with an Mpix's book, one at a time!
I use to make them myself until Mpix came along. Their attention to care, speed and, to be frank, price basically put me out of the notecard printing business and into the notecard writing business.
Moose's true passion is wildlife photography and considers himself incredibly fortunate to be amongst North Americas critters and bring back their story with his camera. Along the way Moose has been fortunate to be recognized for his passion: a Nikon Legend Behind the Lens, Lexar Elite Photographer, recipient of the John Muir Conservation Award, Research Associate with the Endangered Species Recovery Program, to name just a few. He shares his knowledge through his writing, being published in over 131 magazines worldwide, author of 23 books and lecturing across the country to thousands upon thousands of photographers. One of the original Nikon shooters to receive the D1 in 1999, Moose embraced this new technology becoming the only wildlife photographer in the world to shoot strictly digital in the early years. Being a creative innovator of new techniques both behind the camera and the computer is the driving force behind his photography and goals.
