At Mpix, we use the terms interchangeably. A Canvas Print is a broad term meaning a photo printed on canvas material. Like other Gallery Wraps, our Canvas Prints are stretched and wrapped around the sides of a sturdy wooden frame with a finished backing for hanging.

Yes, photos taken with a phone can be printed on canvas as long as the resolution is compatible with the size you are ordering. Just make sure you’re uploading the original, full resolution photo. Screenshots or photos pulled from social media typically do not print well, as files are compressed.

The print size is for the front of the canvas and does not include the wrapped area.

The wood frame is 1.5”.

The right Canvas Print size depends on your wall space, furniture size, and how bold you want the display to feel. If you plan to hang your Canvas Print above a piece of furniture, a good rule of thumb is to choose a size that fills about 2/3 of the width of the furniture beneath it.

Our Canvas Print sizes range from 8x10” to 40x60”. An 8x10” is a great size for displaying on a side table or shelf. Whereas, a 40x60” makes a great statement piece for a large living room wall.

Each Canvas Print comes ready to hang. Choose from Open Back + French Cleat (available for all sizes), Sawtooth (available for sizes up to 20x24"), or Wire Hanger (available for sizes 12x18" and larger).

Yes. We have many Canvas Print Collage templates you can choose from.

This is not something we offer. If you would like a fine art print, you might consider printing on our Fine Art Giclee Paper that has a subtle watercolor paper texture.

Yes. You can add personalized text to the photo and/or wrapped edges of your Canvas Print.

We do not offer custom sized Canvas Prints.

Our Canvas Prints are not designed for high humidity areas and are wrapped on wood frames that can warp with moisture. Metal Prints would be a much better display option for a bathroom or kitchen.

We use a poly-cotton blend Canvas that is guaranteed to have a 100+ year display life when displayed indoors. Colors will not fade unless exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
